As part of our mission, to foster an awareness of cultural resource management and heritage preservation in Hawaiʻi, Ka Ipu Makani  has partnered with the University of Hawaiʻi Maui College,  Molokai Education Center, Ka Honua Momona, and the Kalaupapa National Historic Park  to Hoʻoulu Kahu Iwikuamoʻo, to train Molokaʻi students in  cultural resource management and archaeological techniques, while receiving college credits.
